Welcome to our weekly peek at life on the farm!

Each season has its own rhythm here at Hickman Hollow Farms, and this page is where we share what’s happening right now…what’s blooming, what’s ripening, and what’s ready for you to take home. We’ll keep this page updated with what’s currently available in the U-Pick fields and Farm Store, along with a little sneak peek of what’s coming soon.

🌸 What’s Blooming Right Now

This week the fields are alive with color!

  • Zinnias – Bright, cheerful, and ready for U-Pick.

  • Celosia – Perfect for drying or fresh arrangements.

  • Sunflowers – Limited stems available in the U-Pick field through Saturday.

  • Herbs in Bloom – Basil, mint, and lemon balm available for fresh cutting.

Pro Tip: For farm store purchases, bring a bucket or jar to keep your harvest hydrated on the way home! U-picks will have a water jar as part of the pick!

🥕 What’s Ready to Harvest

Fresh from the garden and available in the farm store:

  • Cherry Tomatoes – Sweet and sun-kissed.

  • Cucumbers – Crisp and perfect for salads or pickling.

  • Squash & Zucchini – In abundance this week.

  • Fresh Herbs – Parsley, dill, and oregano bundles available.

Our produce rotates quickly this time of year, so check back often or give us a quick call before you head out.

🌿 Coming Soon

We’ve got our eyes (and hands) busy preparing for the next round of harvests:

  • Dahlias – Just starting to show color; peak bloom expected next week.

  • Pumpkins – Ripening in the patch for early fall.

  • Okra – Tiny buds are forming; picking will start soon.

  • New Soap & Herbal Tea Blends – Restocking in the farm store mid-month.

You’ll find a rotating mix of farm-fresh and handmade goods each week, including:

  • Fresh bouquets and U-Pick bundles

  • Seasonal produce

  • Jams, jellies, and herbal teas

  • Handmade soaps and salves

  • Farm-branded gift baskets and local honey (when available)

Stop by during our open hours or pre-order online for easy pickup. Everything we sell is grown or made right here in Florence. From our hands to yours.

Our U-Pick fields and farm store are open Friday–Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Early morning is always best for taste and freshness.

Bring the family, enjoy a picnic, and take home something fresh from the fields.

Located less than 90 minutes from Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Columbia, Hickman Hollow Farms makes for a perfect day trip — and we promise, it’s worth the drive.
