Whether you're photographing a glowing maternity session, a newly engaged couple, a family making memories, or a business looking for fresh branding images, Hickman Hollow Farms offers a beautiful and ever-changing backdrop for your work.
Throughout the growing season, our flower fields come alive with vibrant blooms, creating a stunning natural setting that feels both romantic and timeless. From rows of colorful flowers and golden evening light to rustic barns, open pastures, and peaceful water views, the farm offers a variety of locations that allow photographers to create an entire gallery without ever leaving the property.
Each photography booking includes one hour of private access to the farm, giving you and your clients the space and freedom to create without interruptions (Not available during u-pick hours). Whether you're drawn to flowers, wide open landscapes, rustic farm charm, or quiet waterfront scenes, you'll find countless opportunities to capture meaningful images that feel authentic and unique.
Hickman Hollow Farms is available for engagement sessions, family portraits, maternity photography, senior photos, branding sessions, bridals, couples sessions, and more. Before scheduling your appointment, please take a moment to read through our Photography FAQ below. It includes important details to help ensure your visit runs smoothly and is enjoyable for everyone on the farm.
A Few Simple Guidelines
To help us protect the flowers, the animals, and the experience for everyone, please review these important policies before booking your session:
Professional photographers only. Rentals are available only to photographers with an active business liability insurance policy.
Private sessions. Each booking is for one photographer, one client or family, and one hour. We do not allow mini sessions or multiple clients during a single time slot.
Be punctual. Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your session and exit the fields promptly at the end of your scheduled time. Other photographers may be booked before or after you.
No outside animals. We are a working farm with many animals as well as livestock guardian dogs, and outside pets can cause stress to our animals. Please leave pets at home.
Stay in designated areas. Do not enter restricted sections of the flower fields or approach farm equipment. These guidelines help keep both you and the flowers safe.
Respect the flower beds. Our flower beds are filled with delicate flowers. Do not allow clients or yourselves to step in beds or cross over them. Always walk around them and stay on the grass paths.

Unfortunately, no. We are a working farm with livestock guardian dogs and other animals that can be sensitive to unfamiliar pets. Outside animals can cause unnecessary stress to our farm animals. Please leave all pets at home.

We ask that during photography sessions, you do not pick flowers. If you would like flowers for your photo shoot, we’re happy to prepare a purchased bouquet ahead of time.

We do not offer refunds for photography sessions. However, if it is actively raining during your scheduled time or there is a confirmed threat of severe weather we will gladly reschedule your appointment for a later date. Please note that short-notice reschedules are not permitted unless weather prevents a shoot.

Because each slot is reserved exclusively for one photographer, we cannot issue refunds for missed or canceled sessions. To schedule a new time slot, a new booking and rental fee will be required.

We understand that things happen, but please note that your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. To be fair to other photographers, we can’t extend sessions for late arrivals.

We do not allow mini-sessions with multiple families during a single booking. You’re welcome to book multiple single family one-hour sessions in the same day, but each session must be reserved separately with its own rental fee for one family.

No. For safety of our animals and privacy reasons, drones are not allowed on the property.

No early access is allowed. Please arrive no earlier than 5–10 minutes before your appointment. Blooming season can be a popular time for photographers here on the farm, and there may be another session taking place. We want to respect everyone’s privacy and time. Entry into the flower fields begins only at your scheduled time, and we ask that you exit promptly at the end of your time slot.

Yes. We require all professional photographers to carry business liability insurance to protect you, your clients, and the farm during your visit. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to your session date. You and your clients will also be required to sign a waiver releasing our farm from any financial responsibility for you or your client during their time on the farm.
