The Farm

Hickman Hollow Farms is our little patch of heaven on 19 acres in Florence, South Carolina. One acre is where we live, and the rest is where the magic happens: rows of flowers, fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and a small but lively bunch of animals who keep things interesting every day.

We’re new farmers, and that’s part of what makes it so exciting. Every sunrise brings something to learn, from what the soil needs to how to keep the goats from outsmarting the fences. We’re building this farm step by step, season by season, learning as we go and shaping it into the kind of place we’ve always dreamed about — one filled with beauty, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.

When you visit, you’ll see fields bursting with color, young fruit orchards growing for the future, and seasonal vegetables that end up in our farm store and handmade products. You’ll also meet our rabbits, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows, and goats…each with a job to do and plenty of personality to share. They’re not just fun to visit; they play an important role in keeping the land healthy and the cycle of life on the farm thriving.

We like to keep things natural and regenerative as much as possible here on the farm, avoiding harsh chemicals and focusing on practices that protect the soil, pollinators, and plants. After all, this is the food and flowers we bring into our own home, and we want the same clean, healthy goodness for your family that we want for ours.

We’re proud to call Florence home, but we welcome visitors from all over. At less than 90 minutes from Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Columbia, Hickman Hollow Farms makes for the perfect day trip; close enough for an outing, but full of experiences that make the drive worthwhile.

Come walk through the fields, pick a bouquet, and enjoy the slower pace of life that makes the farm feel a little like stepping back to what matters most. We’d love to welcome you to Hickman Hollow Farms.
